Moving Forward with Hope - July 2022 Update
As we move forward and continue to multiply hope together in 2022, here's an update on our five campaign priorities:
MULTIPLY HOPE FOR EVERYONE WHO NEEDS CHRIST
We're continuing to reach new families and individuals and help them get connected here at Chets this summer. One of our favorite moments this summer was our first Beach Baptism event where we baptized 21 people who have made the decision to follow Christ! MULTIPLY HOPE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
This summer has been such a blast for our kids and students. We had an incredible week Making Waves at VBS 2022 in June. We had 1,086 kids participate in our VBS this year and raised $7,885 for the Maui Rescue Mission. You can click HERE to check out the recap videos.
Our kids and students just returned last week from an awesome week at camp! They had an incredible time discovering the wonder of who God is and the mission He’s called them to.
MULTIPLY HOPE BY MEETING NEEDS IN OUR COMMUNITY
In June our Southside Campus hosted a community feeding event where we provided 104 families with food through a new partnership with Feeding Northeast Florida.
As we get ready to launch English as a Second Language classes (ESL) again this fall at our Hodges Campus and Southside Campus, we are hosting a training event on July 29 - 30. This month we are collecting school supplies to help kids in our community start the new school off well! Supplies can be dropped off at any of our Chets Creek campuses now through July 31 and will be distributed through our partner schools and ministries. Click HERE to view a list of supplies.
MULTIPLY HOPE THROUGH OUR RELATIONSHIPS
Now is a great time to try out a LifeGroup at Chets!
On August 14, our Adult LifeGroups will be kicking off “Group Choice” which is where we’ll have a variety of different studies happening for six weeks. Click HERE to preview the studies being offered.

MULTIPLY HOPE THROUGH OUR GENEROSITY
Your generosity fuels the multiplication of hope. We currently have 572 individuals and families who have given to or made commitments to Multiply Hope. Our goal is to raise $11 million over the next three years and our total commitments are $10,133,913 to date.
Thank you being such a generous church and for your partnership to know God together and be changed by Him in a way that will change the world.
Project Updates
HOPE CENTER
We have met with an architect and plans are being drawn up for the Hope Center which will be built on the property of our Southside Campus.
SOUTHSIDE CONNECTION
Now that the renovations to the existing buildings at the Southside Campus are complete, the next step will be to build a large covered pavilion that will connect the buildings and provide a covered space for fellowship and welcoming new guests.
NORTH RENOVATIONS
Our North Campus renovations are progressing well. Permits have now been approved for the work being done in the front building for that space to be used to provide ministry for kids, students, and adults. Renovations are estimated to be completed sometime this fall.
HODGES ADDITION
Plans for the Hodges addition have been finalized and we have now began the bidding process through our contractors. This addition will allow for more space to minister to middle and high school students, as well as provide space for other ministry opportunities throughout the week.
With the increased cost of building materials, we will continue to monitor the economy and it's impact on construction costs. Our intent is to complete these projects without incurring debt.
